|Description:||Responsible for providing a variety of administrative functions and support to the Facility Manager and related departments. Provides first line facility services such as painting, minor construction repairs, electrical services, exterior and interior maintenance, minor plumbing and other services as needed. Maintains professional relations with employees, vendors, suppliers, and outside contractors|
|Duties:||1.Assumes responsibility for the general facility maintenance of credit union owned property.|
a Updates records retention schedule with destruction of document dates with direction provided by the Facilities Manager and Director of Compliance. Responsible for transportation of records and items from multiple credit union locations to the storage center.
b. Orders and picks up keys for building doors, filing cabinets, drawers, etc. Changes locks as necessary. Performs locksmith work to minimize outside vendor service calls.
c. Works with vendors in accordance with minor work orders within our credit union established policies and procedures.
d. Assesses facility issues such as electrical, plumbing, grounds, HVAC, exterior appearance and installation of equipment. Reports out-of-scope issues to the Facility Manager.
e. Keeps facility exteriors such as drive-thrus and parking lots cleaned from oil, dirt and debris.
f. Performs minor painting projects as requested.
g. Ensures established purchasing policies and procedures are followed when making purchases for repairs and other items.
h. Completes and records weekly rotation of maintenance visits to all locations. Will report any out-of-scope preventative maintenance items to the Facility Manager for review, which are discovered during the visits to the credit union locations.
i. Keeps all maintenance equipment in good working order and reports any necessary repairs needed to Facility Manager.
j. Manage vehicle maintenance for the facilities vehicles and provide oversight of the courier vehicles maintenance on a regular schedule.
k. Ensure all necessary fire code regulations are being followed in the maintenance building. Address any issues immediately with the Facilities Manager.
2. Assumes responsibility for establishing and maintaining effective, professional business relations with vendors and service providers.
a. Resolves requests, questions, and problems promptly.
b. Monitors vendor activity when needed.
c. Maintains the credit unionís professional reputation.
High school graduate or equivalent.
Knowledge of facility maintenance including minor plumbing, electrical, construction, painting and grounds work.
Basic understanding of HVAC operations and maintenance.
One to two years of related experience preferred.
Well organized and attentive to detail.
Good math skills.
Ability to operate small electric or gas powered tools and hand tools.
